“Waitaha” is an abbreviation of the ancient name for Canterbury, Aotearoa New Zealand, after its earliest inhabitant people: more information is on About page.

Sustainable Canterbury, Mauriroa Waitaha is a new group run by this Charter (pdf) to engage with the linked issues of Water use, Climate change, and MMP/STV proportional representative democracy. Action by monthly Meeting.
