Kia ora, warm greetings ki a koe / to you

Waitaha* is an abbreviation of the ancient name for Canterbury, in Aotearoa New Zealand, after our earliest inhabitant people: Waitaha Nation of Peace ~ “We are Waitaha. We are the water containers of the Creator, therefore we have been imbued with the many forms of waters containing the many gifts of all that is in the Universe” ~ Spirit journey to our sacred rivers.

Sustainable Canterbury, Mauriroa Waitaha brings support by this Charter (pdf). The foundation process and notes are Water Forum 2010-2011 output.
